My name is Gail Clanton Diggs and, until recently, I served as the Executive Marketing Director and Copywriter at a major direct mail/internet health company in the Washington, DC area.

While there I wrote web copy, direct mail packages, retention efforts, product sales copy, editorial copy, and more.  I led marketing and creative strategy sessions, and worked closely with print buyers, designers, writers, and marketers.

As a result, from top to bottom, I understand exactly how this business works.

You see, for almost 15 years I worked in one of the comfortable window offices and, while this work was satisfying, I wanted more.  And I knew that, for me, there was a better, smarter, more enjoyable way to make a living.  That’s when GCD Writing and Marketing was born and I’ve never looked back.  I absolutely love what I’m doing!
